Spring at Dug In Farms

During a break in the showers on Friday, Carolyn Quinn, owner of Dug In Farms, at far left, and her team (Liz Downes, Cailey Deml, and Alec Ream, from left) unload a box truck of nursery plants. The shipment is in preparation of several upcoming spring events at the business in the Lancaster County community of White Stone. On Monday, Dug In Farms will celebrate its seventh year in business. In observance of Earth Day, Dug In Farms will have a sale on nursery plants from April 22-24. That Friday, Bartlett Tree Service will provide free trees to the community. Throughout that weekend, several nonprofit groups will share information about the earth’s environment and natural resources. For more information, call or text 804-580-1567.
