Shutout Win

In the first game of the spring season, the Baystars U10 Hurricanes defeated the Tidewater Sharks Premier White, 8-0, Saturday at Blayton Elementary School in Williamsburg. The Hurricanes are competing in the U11 Division of the Tidewater Advanced Soccer League to challenge themselves this season. Jep Doley earned a hat track by scoring three goals, including one penalty kick. Theo Collins and Abel Williams both scored twice, followed by Jack Sheridan, earning one goal. Assists were recorded by Collins, Declan Long, Doley and Gabriel Franklin. Spencer Leigh and Franklin both served as goalkeepers. The team will return to the field on March 21 at Woodville Park in Gloucester.
