Andrew Double has been named the new pastor at Severn Church, Naxera.
He grew up in western Pennsylvania and attended Slippery Rock University, earning a B.A. in History. He received a commission in the United States Army as an officer, with an education delay to pursue service as a chaplain. Upon graduating college, he enrolled in seminary and graduated from Liberty University with a master of divinity degree. He began serving as a pastor and was later approved for ordination through the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference. Following ordination, he served as a chaplain in the United States Army Reserve.
During his time in the Army, he traveled extensively, including a deployment to the Middle East. After returning from deployment, he and his wife Julie, took leadership positions at Chick-fil-A. The Lord soon placed a desire on their hearts to return to full-time ministry, a release said. From there, God directed them to Severn Church.
