The Bay School Community Arts Center in Mathews has a number of exhibits on display during the holiday season, offering creative and unusual gifts for holiday gift giving.
Four holiday shopping experiences feature large and small handmade gifts from local and regional artists in all price ranges. In the Art Speaks Gallery are “Deck the Walls,” the “Christmas Tree Pop-Up,” the “Holiday Pop-Up Market” and November artist of the month Gabrielle Patrice.
The Holiday Pop-Up Market is a season-long event featuring 11 artisan vendors through Dec. 31. The artists will refresh their booths each week so there will be new items throughout the season.
The Christmas Tree Pop-Up features 2D and 3D Christmas tree art, while Deck the Walls offers 2D artwork priced from $50 to $200.
Finally, the Gabrielle Patrice exhibit contains 11 acrylic paintings in which the artist’s use of gold foil adds shimmering horizons to her serene seascapes. More information about Patrice is available online at bayschool-a...
