Edward Correia will deliver the first on three talks on the difference of Eastern and Western religions at 10:30 a.m. Sunday in the Unitarian Universality Fellowship of the Rappahannock, 366 James Wharf Road, White Stone. Correia is a practicing attorney and adjunct professor at American University Washington College of Law. The first talk will examine why Eastern and Western religions evolved differently. The second, on April 12, examine different conceptions of the divine. The third, on May 17, will define religious goals, including salvation and nirvana. A release said all interested persons are welcome to join the discussion and a coffee fellowship that follows. Correia is the author of four novels, and two books addressing the relationships of science and religion: “The Uncertain Believer: Reconciling God in a Scientific World and Teaching Your Child About God in a Scientific World.”...
