Second edition of ‘Woods of Wicomico’ to be released

Brandylane Publishers, Inc. of Richmond, has announced the upcoming release of a second edition of “The Woods of Wicomico,” a children’s book written by Gloucester resident Nuala C. Galbari and illustrated by Buttons Boggs and Nancy Taylor Atkins.

All kinds of wildlife claim the peaceful woods of Wicomico as their home—so when deforestation threatens the woodland, its residents band together to protect it, no matter what it takes, according to a summary of the book by the publishing house. The new edition of “The Woods of Wicomico” is scheduled for release on April 23.

Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Galbari studied hospitality management at the Belfast College of Business Studies, creative writing and design at the Minnesota School of Business, and playwriting and nineteenth-century literature through the University of Oxford.
