A flock of Canada geese stopped over at this field in Moon last Thursday morning, a common sight in the area this time of year. The geese fly south from Canada in the fall to overwinter throughout the continental U.S. In the spring or early summer, they’ll fly back to Canada in order to breed and bear goslings.
