Emily Wingrove of Gloucester, received a bachelor of science degree from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Fla., during commencement exercises May 13. Wingrove completed major studies in English and broadcast journalism. She is currently in a marketing internship in Miami.

Ryan K. Butler was named to the fall and spring semester dean’s lists at Old Dominion University where he is majoring in mass communications. The recognition requires a 3.5 or higher grade point average. Butler is the son of Cephus and Maxine Butler of Gloucester, and the grandson of Naomi Smith of Mathews, and Mary Butler of Lancaster.

Robert Kruger Bressin of Gloucester, graduated cum laude from Longwood University with a bachelor of science degree in chemistry during commencement ceremonies May 14. Bressin was also named to the spring semester dean’s list at Longwood, a recognition that requires a 3.5 or higher grade point average.
