Cody Brown of Hayes was named to the dean’s list at Saint Mary’s College, Indiana, for the fall 2023 semester. To earn this honor, students must achieve a grade point average of at least 3.6, complete a minimum of 12 graded credit hours, and have no incompletes and no grades lower than a C.

Ohygie Johnson of Bohannon received a promotion on Dec. 14 to the rank of specialist in the New York Army National Guard in recognition of his capability for additional responsibility and leadership.

Douglas Pruim of Gloucester has been named to the dean’s list at Frostburg State University, Maryland, for the fall 2023 semester. To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must complete a minimum of 12 credit hours and earn a cumulative semester grade point average of at least 3.4 on a 4.0 scale. Pruim achieved a 4.0 GPA.
