School Briefs

Preston Wade Hudgins of Centreville, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education from George Mason University—Honors College during commencement exercises in December 2021. He is now employed as a physical education teacher at McLean High School in McLean. A Mathews High School graduate, he is the son of Wayne and Jeannie Hudgins of Bavon, and Andrew and Heather McElligott of Poquoson, and the grandson of Sherry Hamilton of Cobbs Creek and the late Wade and Sookie Hudgins of Bavon.
Two local students from Gloucester earned undergraduate degrees from Park University for the fall 2021 semester. Jacob E. Rollin earned his Bachelor of Public Administration in Business Relations, and Cassidy C. McGathey received her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration/Law Enforcement.
