William Griswold of Hayes was named to the spring dean’s list at Gettysburg College where he is majoring in anthropology. The recognition requires a 3.3-3.59 grade point average. Griswold is the son of Steven Griswold of Hayes and Martha Griswold of Hallieford.
Rebeka Turner of Gloucester was named to the spring semester dean’s list at Mary Baldwin College. The recognition requires a grade point average of 3.5 to 3.74. 
Gov. Terry McAuliffe announced last week the reappointment of Gloucester County School Board member George R. “Randy” Burak to the Virginia Board for People with Disabilities. Burak was first appointed to the state board in 2013.
