Matthew Castaneda of Hayes, a member of the James Madison University 2018 Marching Royal Dukes, will travel to New York City with the marching band to perform in the 92nd annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Castaneda, a media arts and design major, plays in the band’s trumpet section. The JMU band is one of only three college bands that were invited to perform this year.
