The Gloucester County School Board made a number of personnel appointments and staff reassignments, as well as accepting some resignations at its April 9 meeting, held in the T.C. Walker Education Center auditorium. Stephanie Hautz of Yorktown was appointed as Interim Director of Human Resources, effective April 9, and Curtis Rowe Jr. of Yorktown was appointed to a grounds- keeper position, effective April 9. For 2024-2025 school year appointments, Ami McCullough of Midlothian was appointed to a math intervention position at Abingdon Elementary School; Sadie Melago of Mathews was assigned to a fourth-grade teaching position at Petsworth Elementary School; Elizabeth DeWitt of Yorktown was assigned to an elementary teaching position; Keisha Hill of Centreville was assigned to a school psychologist position; and Cindy Earwood and Michelle Norman were both appointed to substitute teaching positions.
