CREAM CHEESE AND NUT SANDWICH
1 block (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
Chopped pecans
1 tsp. homemade (or Hellmann’s) mayonnaise
2 tsp. granulated sugar
Pinch red pepper
Mix all ingredients together and spread on soft white sandwich bread with crusts trimmed.
HAM SPREAD
2 lb. ground picnic shoulder ham
2 c. seedless raisins, ground
8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
¾ c. mayonnaise
2/3 c. sweet pickle relish
In a medium bowl, mix thoroughly ground ham and raisins. Thoroughly blend in cream cheese and mayonnaise and stir in relish. Use as a spread for canapés, crackers or sandwiches.
