The Rivah Day Spa & Gift Shop is now under new ownership. The shop is located in a three-story building on Gloucester Road, Saluda.

The large building provides owner Tina Carter of West Point room for several showrooms to offer an assortment of jewelry (including sterling and costume pieces), seasonal items and gifts, as well as ample space for many beauty services.

Carter works there full-time as a nail technician. She and three other nail techs (one full-time and two part-time) offer acrylic, gel and shellac nails. The staff includes two part-time estheticians (who provide facials) and a part-time massage therapist.

The spa offers a variety of nail care services and products, as well as facials, massages, manicures and pedicures, and related services. Complimentary wine and soft drinks add to the relaxing atmosphere, Carter said. The same building houses Trend Masters, a separate business whose two stylists offer cuts, color, perms and special occasion hair.
