A paving operation is scheduled today and Friday on Route 17 (George Washington Memorial Highway), between Crany Creek and Woods Cross Road, in Gloucester.
Darragh Copley Frye, a spokesperson for the Virginia Department of Transportation, said that motorists traveling in that area between 7 a.m.-7 p.m. each day should expect alternating lane closures and brief traffic delays.
