RoboDukes earn ticket to VEX World Championships

The Gloucester High School VEX robotics teams had another successful outing last weekend, with the RoboDukes earning a return trip to the World Championships and the RoboDukes2 taking a top award during the Virginia State VEX Robotics Competition at Meadow Event Park in Doswell.

The RoboDukes went 3-2 and placed 12th overall to finish as a state tournament finalist and earn a bid to the VEX Robotics World Championships scheduled for April 15-18 in Lexington, Ky. 

The RoboDukes2 went 2-3 and placed 31st. The team was selected to receive a Promote Award, which is presented to a competition school, club or team that has created and submitted an outstanding VEX Robotics promotional video.
