Robert L. Carmines, 82, of Hampton, passed away peacefully on Oct. 17, 2021 in Bear Creek, N.C. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry L. and Margaret Q. Carmines; his sister, Virginia (Susie) C. Ellyson, and his best friend, Bettie Lou Matkins.

Survivors include son, Jeffrey L. Carmines; daughter, Lisa C. Jackson; granddaughters, Chelsea C. Jackson-Loesch (Parker), Holly F. Jackson (Cory Grove) and Rilee Q. Jackson; great-grandson, Jaxon Avery, and a host of nieces and nephews.
