Robert “Bob” Samuel Plentovich, age 81, of Gloucester, died May 4, 2019 at Walter Reed Convalescent Center.

Bob was born in Pennsylvania and lived much of his adult life in Ohio. He attended Gloucester High School, Virginia Tech and the Ohio State University, retiring from Bell Labs as an electrical engineer.

Wife, Mary Jane Plentovich, parents, and one sibling preceded him in death. 

He is survived by his three children, Elizabeth Plentovich and partner Howard Kelly, Bobbi Lewis and husband Gary, David Plentovich and wife Jennifer; eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and six siblings.

Inurnment will be private.  A celebration of life service was held Saturday, June 1, 2019, at Faith Lutheran Church, 170 Mansfield Ave., Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050.
