Riverwalk Landing parking terrace maintenance work to be completed by Oct. 1

Routine maintenance work on the upper level of the Riverwalk Landing parking terrace in Yorktown began this week and is projected to be completed by Oct. 1.

Repairs to the parking terrace include application of a traffic-bearing membrane, installation of new expansion joints, replacement of sealants, repairing cracks in the concrete, and pavement markings and line striping. This work is designed to prevent any rain from leaking into the lower level.

The lower level of the structure will have limited parking during this time.

The Yorktown Trolley is expanding operations with a second trolley providing service seven days a week through Labor Day, and then on weekends throughout the completion of the project, to carry passengers to and from parking lots throughout town. To help direct visitors to free parking, attendants/ambassadors will be stationed at the parking terrace on concert evenings and weekends.
