River Country Quilters

Award-winning author, instructor and keynote speaker Dawn Brotherton will discuss “My Quilting, My Writing, My Life” at Tuesday’s meeting of the River Country Quilters, which begins at 6:30 p.m. at Abingdon Episcopal Church, White Marsh. A retired Air Force colonel and softball coach, Brotherton writes mystery, romance, middle grade fiction, children’s picture books, and nonfiction books. She is also a quilter who has written “Eastover Treasures,” a mystery that incorporates her love of quilting. She will share her quilts, her insights about quilting, and the path she’s taken to become a successful author.
