Rhonda Lynn Phillips, 46, of Gloucester, passed away Jan. 14, 2017 at her home.
Rhonda was born Feb. 22, 1970 to David and Burline
Cosper. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church.
Rhonda had a desire to help people in need and enjoyed her time as an EMT and in nursing. She would strike up a conversation at any time, any place, and with anybody, and called many people her friends. Rhonda loved her family and especially her grandchildren. She will be missed and always remembered.
She was preceded in death by her father, David Cosper, and stepfather, John Turner.
She is survived by her mother, Burline Turner; husband, Mike Phillips; children, Ashlee Driggers (Taylor Bell), Michael Driggers (Elizabeth) and Cody Phillips (Carolann); grandchildren, Jasmine, Hunter and Jordan; sister, Kim James (Brian); nieces, nephews and extended family and friends, and her best friend for many years, Michelle Debreaux.
Funeral services conducted by the Rev. Tom Cohick were held at noon Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017, at Providence Baptist Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery. The family received friends Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017, from 7-8:30 p.m. at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point.
