‘Restore the Wild’ exhibit opens March 6 in Richmond

An exhibition titled “Restore the Wild” opens Friday, March 6, and continues through Sunday, March 28, at The Gallery at Main Street Station, 1500 E. Main Street, Richmond. More than 200 works of art depicting Rafinesque’s big-eared bat were entered in the 2025 Restore the Wild competition sponsored by the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources. Sometimes known as the southeastern big-eared bat, the Rafinesque’s big-eared bat is a species of vesper bat native to the southeastern U.S. Winners in the competition will be announced at the Opening Night Reception from 6-8 p.m. on March 6....
