Tech Zone Rent To Own opened in late October at White Marsh Shopping Center. The new business is a sister store to Tech Zone, located in Shops at Gloucester south of Gloucester Court House, said manager Robert Jones of Hampton.

The established store concentrates on the sale of electronics and stereos, said its new manager Steve Finch of Urbanna, while both stores offer home theater and DirecTV services.

Meanwhile, the new store at White Marsh features many types of furniture (including the Ashley line), large appliances such as washers and dryers, and Samsung televisions, which are being offered on a rent-to-own basis for clients who are on a tighter budget. Finch said customers can rent one piece of furniture or an entire house’s worth including lamps and other accessories.
