Remaining GCPS employees offered COVID-19 vaccines

The remaining 100 or so Gloucester County Public School employees who have indicated they are interested in receiving COVID-19 vaccinations were offered the vaccine this week, according to an all-call from school division superintendent Walter Clemons on Saturday.

Clemons said he was recently notified of the vaccine availability by the Three Rivers Health District and that school division nursing director Lisa Jones would be emailing eligible employees. The vaccinations were scheduled to be administered at the T.C. Walker Education Center yesterday.

Four hundred and forty five vaccinations were provided to GCPS employees in late January and early February at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital. The third round of vaccines this week should mean that all employees that desired the vaccine received it.
