Gloucester Parks, Recreation and Tourism will host a youth field hockey camp next week.
The camp will be held Monday through next Thursday, Aug. 7 from 6-8 p.m. at the old Page Middle School athletic fields. The camp is for 6-12 year-olds and the fee is $60 per participant. Registration closes today.

BEST YEARS TRIP: A Best Years Trip to the Chrysler Museum, Norfolk, will be held from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 8. The trip will include a glass-blowing demonstration at noon. The fee is $30 and the deadline to register is Friday.
PARK AFTER DARK: Gloucester PRT is sponsoring is sponsoring Park After Dark on Friday, Aug. 8 from 8 to 11 p.m. at Beaverdam Park (8687 Roaring Springs Road entrance). You may participate in self-guided hiking, biking and boating. Youth 15 years and under are free, must be accompanied by an adult. All rental fees apply. Check in and out at the Ranger Station.
