Flat Iron Crossroads in Gloucester will feature two bands, Stuck on a Name, and Mighty Joshua, in its Saturday, May 16, everything-reggae show, Reggae Rise Up. Showtime is 6 p.m., while gates open at 5 o’clock with the Get Cheesy food truck and wine, beer and soft drinks at the FIX Bar. The six-piece Urbanna-based reggae outfit Stuck on a Name will open the show, blending roots and modern reggae rhythms with rich horn lines, layered harmonies, and a tight rhythm section. Grammy-nominated reggae artist Mighty Joshua will headline the show. Mighty Joshua, a.k.a. Joshua Achalam, brings conscious lyrics and infectious rhythms that move both heart and body, said the release.
