Shari Pruitt established her real estate firm, Rebate Property Management LLC, in 2007. It is located on George Washington Memorial Highway at Hayes.

The business focuses solely on property management rather than all aspects of the real estate industry, offering residential and commercial property management as well as association management.

Pruitt said she faced a major challenge in 2016 when her mother, Belinda Wright, the founding member of the business, suddenly passed away, “leaving the day-to-day running of the company completely in my hands.”

With lots of dedication and hard work the company is now triple the size it was in 2016,” she said, “and we have added commercial property management and association management to our services offered.”

A Southwest Virginia native, Pruitt moved to Gloucester in 1987 and has “called this great community home since that time.”
