The Gloucester-Mathews Gazette-Journal honored the 95th birthday of longtime food columnist Betty Wrenn Day with a party last Thursday where she was celebrated as “queen for a day.” Employees past and present and friends gathered to lavish Day with food, gifts and fellowship ahead of her actual birthday, which is Nov. 29.
