Bill Hudgins GMC is seeking the public’s help in making the holidays a little brighter for local children in foster care.

The Gloucester automotive dealership is again serving as a drop-off location for the Gloucester County Department of Social Services Angel Tree program.

“These youth have sustained traumatic events in their lives. Therefore, providing them with items not funded through federal and state programs, such as school supplies, gifts for the holidays or birthday presents, enhances their lives and assists in the creation of positive, lifelong memories while in the care of Social Services,” a solicitation letter states.

Those who wish to help can pick up an angel from the Angel Tree and purchase all or a selected amount of items listed on the card. Monetary contributions, gift cards to department stores, as well as gift wrap and gift bags are also needed.
