The Piankatank River Golf Club held its 29th anniversary tournament on July 20 at the Hartfield club. Winners included:
First flight—Jeremy Collier and Trevor Oyler (first place, 65); Randy Pollard and Kai Evans (second place, 66).
Second flight—Bryan Finkel and Pete Ashby (first place, 71); Raye Foster and Tom Holland (second, 73).
Mixed flight—Kelly Lowe and Garland Lowe (first place, 69); Sandi Delagrange and Don Delagrange (second place, 80).
Ladies flight—Nina Carter and Lynette Sawyer (first place, 75). Closest to the pin: Trevor Oyler (men, hole #17). Longest drive: Kai Evans (men, hole #18) and Nina Carter (women, hole #18).
