Port Call Tattoo opens in Gloucester

Gloucester newest tattoo shop, Port Call Tattoo held its grand opening Saturday. The family-owned business is run by husband-and-wife Nathan and Laura Walton of Gloucester County.

Nathan Walton is the artist of the pair but jokes that he really works for his wife Laura, who operates the business end of Port Call Tattoo. Walton started his tattooing career in 2006 and has experience with multiple styles of tattooing. He said his specialty is American Traditional.

Walton is not the only artist at Port Call Tattoo. The other permanent artist at the shop is Adam Sayers. Richie Ayers and Justin Giacobbi are guest artists that will rotate through the shop.

Walton said depending on what a client wants done, he may suggest having a consultation. He recommends clients stopping by or giving them a call to work out the details.
