The Porch Gliders will return to the Reedville Fishermen’s Museum for Concerts by the Creek, 6-9 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 9. The band, based in Farmville, plays music from rock to country. Members include, from left, Cannon Watson, Big Al Franklin, Denis McCarthy, Marcus Pendergrass, Rob Anderson and David Pruitt. The concert will be in the museum’s pavilion, 504 Main Street. Food and beverages will be sold. No outside food, beverages or pets. Tickets are $20 for members and $25 for non-members, online or at the door. All proceeds benefit the museum.
