The 40th anniversary Poquoson Seafood Festival will be held Friday through Sunday at the Poquoson Municipal Park, 830 Poquoson Avenue, Poquoson. Hours are 5-10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, and 12:30-6:30 p.m. Sunday. There is no admission charge; however, there is a $10 parking fee in all areas. Entertainment includes Slapnation on Friday night, The Heather Edwards Band, Soul Patch and Crazy X on Saturday, and The Bill Miles Band and The Deloreans on Sunday. Approximately 160 artisans are expected to exhibit a myriad of crafts and artwork. The festival also includes dozens of food vendors, a children’s area and a fireworks display on Friday night.
