The Mathews Fireworks Committee is back at work, planning a spectacular 2022 Independence Day celebration. The show will be held on Monday, July 4, at Mathews High School, with a rain date of July 5. A shuttle will run from 6-8:15 p.m. from the parking lot at Thomas Hunter Middle School to the high school. Concessions will be available.
