The Gloucester Pickleball Club hosted its second Mixed Doubles Round Robin Tournament on Saturday. Twelve teams from the Peninsula and Middle Peninsula participated in a round-robin format. Antonio Morales and Terri Sawyer placed first; Billy Moore and Nancy Buchanan came in second, and Carlos Morales and Joyce Coles took third. The event was held in the Newington Baptist Church indoor gym. Gloucester Pickleball Club invites anyone to come out and try the sport. Open play at the indoor gym is on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Lessons are offered by Morales, a USA Pickleball PPR Certified Coach.
