Pianist Travis Colby to open Flat Iron Crossroads’ 2021 season Friday

Flat Iron Crossroads, a Gloucester music venue, will begin its 2021 season with a performance by eclectic pianist Travis Colby from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Friday on-site at 7709 Flatiron Road.

Performing pieces that range from elegant jazz background dinner music to more engaging and high-energy fare, Colby is an accomplished band leader and guitarist who toured and recorded with Grammy award-winning Luther “Guitar Junior” Johnson during a six-year tenure and with international recording artists Roomful of Blues from 2004-2012.

Beer, cider, wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase, and a food truck will be on-site. Tickets are limited because of social distancing requirements, and patrons will be asked to wear masks to comply with COVID-19 regulations.

The performance will be available via Pay-Per-View, as well.

Tickets are $5 and may be purchased on the website, flatironcrossroads.com. For more information, call 804-699-3361.
