Locally-grown peony blossoms will be on sale starting May 11 at Moughons, Inc., in Mathews in an annual benefit for the Mathews Historical Museum, under development on Main Street.

The peonies are from the garden of museum board member and first chair Sandy Warhol of Hallieford, who donates them as a benefit to the museum. They are $10 a dozen and the sale will continue until May 24 or at least while her flowers are in bloom.
