Peasley SCA plans student activities

The Peasley Middle School Student Council Association has several activities planned this year in conjunction with the school wide theme of "Passport to a Better Future," according to SCA reporter Jordan McDermott.

McDermott said this month students have the opportunity to buy raffle tickets with the prize being a big bag of Halloween candy. Proceeds will help support The Heifer International Project, a charitable organization aimed at ending world hunger.

Also this month, Peasley students will be encouraged to participate in a "Peace, Friendship and Goodwill" project. This is a campaign to promote volunteerism among students.
