Parker seeks return to Gloucester School Board

Anita Parker, who has been a resident of Gloucester and the Petsworth district for 35 years, is seeking re-election as the Petsworth representative on the Gloucester County School Board.
Parker said she and her husband of 43 years, Jeff, raised their three sons in the county and they are all graduates of Gloucester High School. She said she has had the privilege of serving the students, teachers, employees and familiesof the Petsworth district as a school board member for the past 16 years.
“I look forward to continuing to be your voice for education. I am accessible and committed to the success of all children. With the pandemic raging here in Gloucester I know that our children and families are all stressed and that school looks differently that it has before. We all need to work together for the health and safety of our children during this unprecedented time. We need to do all we can to offer our students the extra support needed mentally,physically and academically,” said Parker.
