Park Partners, Inc., is raising funds for a community all-inclusive playground at Woodville Park. Park Partners members and Gloucester Parks, Recreation & Tourism staff have been contacting county businesses to participate.

Business sponsorship levels have been created to allow flexibility in contributions as well as additional marketing opportunities for businesses. With thousands of visitors each year, Woodville Park is Gloucester’s largest park, offering amenities such as athletic fields, walking paths, gardens and more; but no playground, a Gloucester PRT release stated.

This fundraising effort corresponds to the Parks, Recreation & Tourism capital improvement request for a playground at Woodville Park. Donated funds and tax dollars together will help create this addition to the park.
