Butterfoss and Barton Orthodontics opened recently in a new building on a corner of Crewe Road at Route 17, Hayes.

Orthodontists Thomas W. Butterfoss and Jennifer L. Butterfoss Barton, his daughter, operate the new office as well as offices in Grafton and Hampton. Their staff of four rotates with them to the three offices.

Butterfoss and Barton previously had an office in Gloucester’s Main Street Center. Barton said part of the reason they moved was to get her a bit closer to her home in Virginia Beach.

The orthodontists occupy an approximately 2,500-square-foot suite in a building that also houses a dental office.

“Customers like our open system,” Butterfoss said of the main patient treatment room. There also is a private treatment room.

The suite includes X-ray and scanning equipment. Butterfoss said they have a three-dimensional X-ray unit located at the Grafton office which is convenient to the other two offices.
