Northern Neck Bazaar to be held Saturday in Irvington

Doors open at 9 a.m. Saturday for the first of three Northern Neck Distinctive Bazaars at Irvington United Methodist Church.
Shoppers will be able to get an early start on shopping for the holidays. The bakers will be busy baking pies, cakes, cookies, fudge and other sweets, with people encouraged to get there early for the best selection.
The church is asking for a canned food for the food bank or a monetary donation at the door.
In the gift shop, tables will be filled with all the items that Audrey Lowery and Mary Margaret Hearold have been making. Hearold specializes in her tabletop trees and wreaths. Lowery creates oyster shell art that includes oyster shell nativity scene, and other one-of-a-kind pieces. She has added a whimsical section this year with her Wild Woman creation.
Other popular items are the hostess gifts. These are perfect to have on hand when you need one to take to a friend, an office co-worker or teacher, a release stated.
