Routine inspections are underway on the Robert O. Norris Bridge, which connects Lancaster and Middlesex County on Route 3 across the Rappahannock River.

The Virginia Department of Transportation said inspections will continue all month and will require single-lane travel on the bridge between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Automated flagging devices will be set up to direct the traffic and the work is scheduled to take place on workdays, weather permitting.
