The Guinea Jubilee Committee arm of the Guinea Heritage Association is well underway in its planning for the 2025 Guinea Jubilee to be presented this year on Sept. 26-27 at the Abingdon Ruritan Club, Bena.
“From Friday afternoon’s kick-off with over 70 arts, crafts and food vendor booths, to the Saturday night conclusion—the 2025 Guinea Jubilee celebration is an annual two-day, not-to-be-missed event,” a release stated.
Tucked away in all this planning is the selection process which concludes with the announcement of the 2025 Guinea Jubilee Grand Marshal. “In an effort to involve more of the community in this decision, this year we plan to make this big announcement the first night of the Guinea Jubilee, Sept. 26, in the covered pavilion area of the festival grounds,” said GHA board member Hamilton Williams.
