The Richmond-based trio Mackenzie Roark & the Hotpants will perform at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 11, at the historic Thomas James Store, 44 Maple Avenue, Mathews.
An Americana artist, Roark is known for “blending the soulful roots of classic country, the storytelling spirit of ’70s folk, and the raw edge of rock and roll,” said a press release, adding that she “is ready to groove with all of you.”
Along with this Music on Maple concert, there will be food by the Don Chido food truck and beer by the Gloucester Brewing Company, as well as wine, soft drinks, and water.
Individual tickets are $30 each and may be purchased at the Mathews Visitor Center or online at tinyurl.com/musiconmaple711. Sponsorship opportunities for individuals or businesses are also available. Each ticket includes one beverage.
