There was no meeting at Asbury Chapel, Redart, Sunday afternoon on account of heavy rain.
Mr. U.G. Dillehay, who spent the past month in Norfolk on business and pleasure combined, returned home last week.
The little infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.F. Powell is ill with whooping cough at this writing. She is being nursed by Mrs. Lizzie Respess of Gwynn’s Island.

Clean up, paint up
Getting rubbish on the run, you can have a lot of fun. Making cleaner this clean town, will add a lot to its renown.Out with the rubbish, cut the weeds, sow a lot of garden seeds.
Soap and water, scrubbing brush, chase the dirt out with a rush.
Paint the house from top to toe, varnish, polish high and low. Kalsomine the attic, paint the doors. Put some varnish on the floors.
