Arts on Main in Gloucester invites the public to kick off 2026 with a burst of creativity at the gallery’s group exhibition, “New Year, New Art.” An opening reception will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Friday at 6580 Main Street, Gloucester. The show features a fresh collection of works never before shown at the Main Street gallery. Through acrylic, colored pencil, fiber, mixed media, and oil, the artists highlight their innovative visions and evolving voices, said a press release. Exhibiting artists are Beth Anne Booth, Barbara Brecher, Gloria Clifford, Thomas Ema, Toy Fowler, Mary Ellen Huennekens, Nancy Jacey, John Maples and Heather Salvador. There will be light bites and a cash bar with beer and wine available for purchase. Stella Haile will perform live music. The show will be on display throughout January....
