At its November meeting, the Abingdon Ruritan Club welcomed a new member and also paid tribute to a 60-year member with perfect attendance. Above, Robyn Sweet is welcomed as a new member by her sponsor, vice president Antonio Donald. Below, 60-year member Graham Blake is pictured with Donald and, at right, club president Dean Marzocca. Blake is still active in the club, and attends all meetings wearing a coat and tie. He was one of the original seven members who founded the Abingdon Seafood Festival. They are known as the Magnificent Seven. Mr. Blake still chairs the Roasted Oyster Booth at each Seafood Festival....
