GLOWING GOBBLER: The 2024 Glowing Gobbler 5K will be held on Nov. 27, beginning at 6:30 p.m., at Newport News Park. Run through the park’s Celebration in Lights. All participants will receive chip-timed race and results, a glow-in-the-dark finisher medal, a race shirt and a Celebration in Lights ticket. Costs vary.
Thursday, Nov. 28
TURKEY TROT: The Blue Talon Bistro Turkey Trot will be held Nov. 28 in Williamsburg. 5K runners will wind through the grounds of Colonial Williamsburg and the College of William & Mary before ending on Prince George Street. The race begins at 8:45 a.m. and a kid’s one-mile fun run will begin at 8 a.m. Costs vary.
TURKEY TROT: The 24th annual Irvington Turkey Trot will be held on Nov. 28 from 9 a.m. until noon. Race options and costs vary.
